Watchman, What of the Night?
'Every day is thought upon and calculated, but the night is not premeditated.'
Watchman, What of the Night? Is a sonic inquiry into different spaces at nighttime and into night as a state of being. It is based on field recordings and inspired by the dreamlike non-linear logic of Djuna Barnes' novel Nightwood.
Field recordings were made in a wood near Brunswick, Germany and at Cashmere Radio in Berlin-Lichtenberg.
Released on Sono Space.

Watchman, What of the Night? was originally developed for the GROUPS exhibition at Kunstverein Braunschweig and was played at Borealis Festival and at the Naviar Haiku Festival at Corsica Studios, London.
